Clear identification, professional look, and shift-ready durability

Security patches are essential for fast recognition on site: they tell people their role, company, and authority. Using AquaPatches (a product of AquaDigitizing), we make security patches for guards, event staff, retail loss prevention, hospitality, and facility teams that are legible in low light.

Security patches: what are they?

These are custom uniform emblems for shirts, jackets, outer carriers, hats, and gear bags. Sets usually include:

  • Name of agency or company logo with SECURITY
  • Site or division identifier
  • When the policy allows, name tapes and badge numbers
  • Traffic control and events panels with high visibility

Size, placement, and wording should always follow your company’s uniform policy.

AquaPatches: Why we're the best

  • Abrasion- and rain-resistant PVC or tight stitch density
  • It’s all about legibility: Fonts and contrast are adjusted for arm length and CCTV readability
  • Attachments that fit the job: Hook-and-loop for carriers, sew on for permanence, iron on for compatible clothes
  • Subdued and high visibility colors proofed on your fabric
  • Keeping franchises and multi-site teams uniform with stored specs

Materials that work on duty

  • Embroidered sleeves and chest badges have a classic texture.
  • Slim and crisp for small type or multilingual elements
  • Printed shirts: Brand colors and lightweight builds for warm weather.
  • Outerwear and gear made from PVC are waterproof and durable.

Night details and traffic posts can have reflective accents, if policy allows.

Sizes, borders, and backs

Common sizes

  • Height of shoulder shield: 3 to 4.25 inches
  • ID: 3 to 4 inches wide, 1 to 1.5 inches tall
  • The back identifier should be 8 to 12 inches wide and say things like SECURITY or STAFF

Borders

  • The classic rounded edge for shields and rectangles
  • Tabs and complex shapes are easy with heat cut

Backings

  • Fast removal for washing and seasonal outerwear
  • Uniforms that are sewn on are more durable and neat
  • You can iron on compatible polos and event wear in a flash

Tips for instant recognition

  • Order: SECURITY or company name first, unit or site second
  • Avoid thin strokes; use clear fonts that aren’t condensed
  • Test on navy, black, and hi vis garments to avoid low contrast
  • Clear edge color: A border color that frames without haloing
  • Variant set: Subdued duty and high visibility event versions from the same master

Quick guide to applying

Put it on: Position, stitch evenly around the edge, reinforce corners.
If you’re using hook and loop, press firmly on clean loop fields, then remove hook pieces before washing.
On a firm surface, without steam, iron for 15 to 25 seconds, then 10 to 15 seconds from the reverse. Repress edges if needed. If you’re going to wash it a lot, add a perimeter stitch.

Longevity, Care and Pricing

Longevity and care

  • You can wash it inside out on gentle, cold, or warm
  • Keep patch faces away from direct heat
  • When it rains or dusts, wipe the PVC clean
  • Prevent lift by inspecting and resecuring edges early
