Patches on uniforms, outerwear, carriers, and caps are textiles or PVC. Commonly, they’re:

  • Keep hook covered when storing hook-loop garments.
  • For sew-on uniforms, use durable thread and bar-tack stress points.
  • Rinse grit off, wipe dry. Don't let it sit in high heat for too long.
  • Keeping subdued/high-vis versions packaged and labeled for quick rotation is a good idea.
